Principles

The Trust is committed, in attaining its purpose, to:

Inspiring and supporting education, research and best practice that will contribute to the enhancement of the New Zealand environment and its management.

Promoting cooperation among organisations and agencies involved in environmental restoration and management.

 

Purpose

The purpose of the Trust will be to encourage and assist students, researchers and landowners, by supporting projects and initiatives which will enhance understanding of environmental issues and strategies contributing to best practice in environmental management and stewardship.

 

In particular the Trust will:

Provide funding for school projects designed to teach students about environmental issues and to foster knowledge about how to protect and enhance our natural resources.

 

Provide funding support for landowner initiatives designed to foster knowledge of and develop ways to address environmental issues.

 

Provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose.
